Dr. Jennifer Walden is one of the 851 female board-certified surgeons in the United States. Walden belongs to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. American Way has named her as one of the top plastic surgeons in Americans. She is an ideal doctor for women who are not comfortable with male doctors. The use of Vectra 3D imaging and ThermiVa have made her famous. Dr. Walden chose to be a cosmetic surgeon as she was interested in helping other women improve their life-quality and self-esteem. She holds a medical license in three states: Florida, New York, and Texas. Walden was a joint author of the textbook Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She has been featured on ABC News, Fox News, VH1, E!, and Dr 90210.
As an undergrad, Walden majored in Biology at the University of Texas. She also took courses in women’s studies and psychology. Ms. Walden went to medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was the salutatorian at the graduation ceremony of her class. She is a graduate of Anderson High School.
After serving as a resident in integrated plastic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Dr. Walden became a fellow in aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. She was the Aesthetic Surgery Program at that hospital too. Dr. Sherrell Aston was her mentor at the fellowship. Director In December 2011, she moved to her hometown in Austin, Texas after working in New York City’s Upper East Side for almost eight years, so she could care for her twin sons.
